What is the 50-word description?

Ebb is an iPhone app that puts a short focus game in front of social, short-video and other feed apps. You set up one Shortcuts automation per app. Pass the 15-second round and the app opens. With Pro, each extra pass in a day costs more. Ebb is a speed bump, not a lock.

What is the 100-word description?

Ebb is an iPhone app for people who open a feed without deciding to. A personal automation in Apple's Shortcuts app opens Ebb before the app you chose. You play a round of odd-pair search, digit hold and rule switching, and pass it to continue. Pick 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Pro makes each pass that day cost more, from 15 to 30 to 60 seconds, and adds Morning and Night rules. Every gate offers a two-minute alternative, and a Scroll Receipt turns the Screen Time number you type in into days per year. Ebb has no account and no server, and it is a speed bump, not a lock.

Which one-liners can I quote?

Before short-video feeds open, Ebb puts a 15-second focus game in the way.

Ebb is a speed bump, not a lock. You can always remove it. It works because most urges fade in the few seconds it asks for.

Which images can I use?

Screens from the app are in the pages for the gate, the focus game and duels. They are dark screens with ivory, oxblood and orange blocks. For a logo or other assets, use the app icon on this site. For anything else, write to support@dziby.com.
